AI Clone Policy

1. What an AI clone is

An AI clone lets ContentNeo make videos that show your face and use your voice, without you filming each one. It is created from a short video of you and a sample of your voice. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and adds to our Privacy Policy. Face and voice data is sensitive personal data under Indian law, and we treat it with extra care.

2. Only you can make your clone

• A clone can only be of the person creating it, using their own account. You cannot clone anyone else, including staff, family, customers, celebrities or public figures, even with their permission.
• Identity check. Before we create a clone, you record yourself on camera reading a short consent statement. We compare your face in that recording with the video you uploaded. If they do not match, the clone is not created.
• We may refuse or delete any clone we reasonably believe is not of the account holder, and suspend the account.

3. What we collect

• The video of yourself that you upload, and a short reference clip and still frames taken from it.
• A sample of your voice from that video, and a voice model made from it.
• If you choose, a video you have posted before, so we can match your pace and speaking style.
• Your consent statement recording and the result of the identity check.
• A written record of your consent: the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and your account.

We use your face and voice only to make your videos and to confirm your identity. We do not use them to identify you elsewhere, and we do not guess your race, ethnicity, religion or other sensitive traits from them.

4. How your clone is used

Your clone is used only to present videos for your business, when you or a team member you have allowed asks for one. Each video is made from a script you can read and change before it is made, and you choose whether to download and post it.

5. What we never do

• We never use your clone for anyone else's videos, or for our own marketing without your written permission.
• We never sell or rent your face or voice data.
• We never use it to train AI models, and we do not let our providers train on it.
• We never use it for facial recognition, surveillance or identifying you outside ContentNeo.

6. Who processes clone data

Making a clone video needs specialist AI providers, listed on our Subprocessors page. In particular, Google's AI studies your video to keep your look consistent, ElevenLabs creates and reads with your voice model, and video providers generate the scenes. Each may use your data only to provide that service to us, under contracts that require confidentiality and security. Some are outside India. By consenting to your clone, you consent to these transfers for this purpose.

7. Your control and your team

• You decide which team members, if any, can make videos with your clone. You can change this at any time.
• You can review, replace or delete your clone in the app.
• Your clone stays with your account. It cannot be transferred to another account or business.

8. Withdrawing consent and deletion

• You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your clone in the app or writing to [email protected].
• When you delete your clone or close your account, we stop using it straight away and erase its face and voice data within 30 days, including the voice model held by our provider.
• We keep only the written record of your consent and the identity-check result, without any face or voice data, for up to 3 years, so we can show that the clone was made with your consent if anyone questions it.
• Videos you have already downloaded are yours and are not affected. Videos still in your account are deleted with it.

9. AI labels

Videos made with your clone are AI-generated. As Indian law requires, ContentNeo adds a visible label and embedded information showing that a video was made with AI. Do not remove them, and follow the AI-content disclosure rules of every platform where you post.

10. Security

Clone data is stored privately, encrypted in transit, available only to your account and the authorised staff who need it to provide the service, and shared with providers only through short-lived links when a video is being made.

11. Reporting misuse

If you believe someone has made a clone of you, or used your face or voice without permission, tell our Grievance Officer, Narendran, at [email protected]. We treat impersonation reports as urgent, act on them within the time the law sets, and suspend the clone while we look into it.

12. The consent you give

Before you create a clone, the app asks you to tick a box and then read a statement on camera. The written consent is:
